For Kristin and Vince's wedding we headed to Fort Saskatchewan to the river valley for a beautiful ceremony amongst the trees. With the eclectic music and elegant design, their ceremony was definitely a fav for both of us. Although neither of us was prepared for the chilly wind, we kept our cold fingers busy on the camera shutter with all the photo ops! For our bridal party photos, we took off to an old barn where some sweet words coerced a farmer to lend us the use of it for some really fun photos. For the reception we headed back to the Fort to their recreation facility which features some really great staterooms for functions. All in all, we had a fantastic time, and we want to thank the wedding party again for their good natures and for all the laughs.

Ben and Rachel's Wedding
Ben and Rachel were married in Edson, Alberta. We started off with some photos of Rachel getting ready and then headed off to the Red Brick School to take some pre ceremony photos. The Red Brick is a historic building complete with an old schoolroom, a theatre and a dance studio! It's a great location and we had so much fun. After the Red Brick we headed to our ceremony location, a little hall outside of Edson. Minus one wasp in my drink, the evening was wonderful!

Jennifer and Joda
For Jen and Joda's wedding we travelled to Innisfail, Alberta for the ceremony which was held in the town's catholic church. The priest was a favorite with his warm humor and personal touches throughout their ceremony. For the reception, we headed a few minutes out of town to a gem of a location, the Maple Dell Acreage. The acreage was a cornucopia of photo opportunities, as the owner paid special attention to each and every detail. (Note the swing wrapped in tulle in the woods!)
Jen's parents
Previously mentioned swing. Just for the record, this is not a photoshop effect. Penny narrowly avoided flailing feet to get this shot.
I had to post this photo because of how ridiculously voyeuristic Penny looks as she sets up our lighting. Plus, Joda looking at the camera makes this picture REALLY hilarious.
