Sessa at Fashion Week

Love, love, love these clothes! I trailed Tressa Heckbert (from Meese clothing) around as she prepared for her fashion show during Fashion Week.  We work closely with Meese on a regular basis and we consistently love their designs and company. Go Edmonton Fashion week!

Rudy and Salome

We did some photos of Rudy and Salome, their cute little pugs and their baby to be. They had the funniest little dogs, one of them loved to have his photo taken and kept jumping into the picture, and the other was so friendly she crawled right into my lap!
This couple was so easy to photograph, Salome looked amazing, we are very excited to shoot their wedding later this year.

Tania, Joel and Gabriel

Tania, Joel and baby Gabriel dropped in for some fun photos in the studio. We all had a great time playing with the baby and getting some great shots.

Amy

This was one of our absolute favorite shoots since we really got to play with a fantastic model, a good friend who hadn't put on her toe shoes since an injury a few years previous. We were privileged to capture some beautiful motion as Amy played with her mom's vintage dresses and yards of chiffon. This is one we won't forget. Thanks Amy!!

Meese

We teamed up with Meese clothing in St. Albert last year to shoot their summer catalogue 2009, and these are the final images. Stay tuned for the Fall 2009 collection. Penny and I salivate regularly over the flattering and innovative designs they consistently produce.

Catching up!

Now that summer is long over we are finally able to get around to everything non-wedding. The following are some photos from various shoots we have done in the last couple months, you can tell we're a little behind in our blog updating from the sunshine and green grass in some of the photos!

This little guy's name is Van, after his initial shyness wore off he was soooo easy to photograph as he was full of smiles and easily entertained (as shown with the cardboard box above).

We did some photos for Ryan and Alexis out at Ryan's family's place in Beaumont. These guys were FUN and such good sports considering I made them throw pile after pile of leaves in the air while yelling instuctions such as "Throw the leaves! Now smile! Now do it again!"

This is the Peyton family who I have done photos for in the past. Their little girls Mary and Anna were super cute, very well behaved and made the greatest faces for us. We look forward to doing photos of baby number 3 who is on the way!

I shot Lori and Derek's wedding in September and about a month later had them in the studio to do some photos with their son, Connor. Connor was like a little baby hurricane, he was literally all over the place and into everything, our studio was a complete mess afterwards and I loved it. The last photo here is one of my favourites and was taken near the end of our shoot, you can totally tell that he's tired out and ready for nap.

These are photos taken of Liam and Grayson for their Mom, Jennifer. She wanted photos of them just being themselves, we had a great time with these two and were delighted with how good natured and fun they were. I also happened to bring my puppy with me to the shoot and we all thought it was hilarious when Liam (the youngest) couldn't stop giggling whenever he held her.

Lori and Derek

Lori is a very good friend of mine and so I was really excited when she asked me to do her wedding photos. The ceremony and reception were held at the Pioneer Lodge in Fort Saskatchewan, the ceremony was very touching and I realized the only problem with photographing a friend's wedding is trying to stay dry eyed the entire time! *sniff*

Afterwards we wandered around the town taking pictures, Derek ensured there were no dull moments by climbing trees, swinging on trains and throwing leaves. Fun!

Congrats friends!
